I was watching "Mythbusters" yesterday on TV and saw a segment where they were trying to prove it was dangerous to slam to hammers together. In their test, they did not show the name of manufacturer of the hammers and tested the hammers incorrectly.
If you have not seen the show, they were slamming to claw hammers together at high speed (using robotic arms) to see if the hammers would shatter. Since they did not allow the viewer to know if they were quality hammers or not, I wondered if they could really say (as they did) that it is not terribly dangerous, but not a good idea.
